Role Simulations

Create a Stronger, More Engaged Talent Pipeline

Role-simulations-hero

Candidate confidence and pipeline quality

With rising application volumes, increased use of AI in screening, and growing expectations for consumer-grade experiences, engaging the right talent early matters more than ever. Role Simulations help candidates understand your roles through short, immersive experiences before they apply - building a pipeline of more informed, engaged applicants.

By giving candidates a realistic preview of the work, they drive higher-quality applications and more confident decision-making on both sides. This leads to stronger conversion, reduced early attrition, and allows recruiters to focus on meaningful interactions with candidates who already understand what they’re applying for.

Delivered through a free, accessible virtual platform, role simulations strengthen your employer brand and open up access to a broader range of talent - creating a more efficient route from awareness to application

Block-1

Role Simulations Work Across Your Entire Graduate Hiring Strategy

High-Volume Graduate Schemes
When hundreds of applications land in your inbox, Role Simulations do the early sifting for you. Candidates self-select based on genuine role fit, arriving pre-engaged and better informed. This reduces drop-off throughout your recruitment stages and increases offer acceptance rates.
Niche or Technical Roles
If your graduate roles sit outside the mainstream, most students simply don't know what the day-to-day looks like. A simulation brings the role to life, building awareness and aspiration where a job advert alone wouldn't land. Think roles like actuarial, geotechnical, risk assurance, or specialist engineering.
Reach a more diverse audience
By lowering the barrier to understanding a role, simulations help attract students from a wider range of backgrounds who might otherwise self-select out. Delivered through our free, virtual platform, they make these experiences accessible to more students, regardless of background.

Branded Simulation Build

Our team works with you to script and produce a fully branded Role Simulation. We handle video production, task design and model answers. Everything is tailored to your specific graduate role and employer brand guidelines.

Candidate Warm-Up

Every student who completes a simulation has demonstrated real intent. They've invested an average of 30 minutes learning about your organisation and role, so when they click “apply” they are already engaged and informed

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Role Simulation? A Role Simulation is a short, immersive digital experience that gives candidates a realistic preview of a graduate role before they apply. Candidates learn more about the employer, watch video content, complete a realistic task, and are provided resources to apply for a role.
Who is this product for? Role Simulations are designed for employers running graduate and early careers hiring, whether for high-volume schemes, niche technical roles, or programmes targeting underrepresented talent.
What kinds of roles work best? Role Simulations work across a wide range of graduate roles, but they tend to have the biggest impact where the day-to-day is hard to picture from a job advert alone, such as actuarial, engineering, risk, or legal. That said, they're equally effective for high-volume generalist schemes where self-selection and engagement quality matter.
How long does it take to build a simulation? We work at your pace. Once we know which role you’re showcasing and who’ll be on camera, we handle the heavy lifting including scripting, video production and build. The timeline is largely determined by your team’s availability for content input and approvals, so the earlier we start, the more runway you have before your key recruitment windows.
Is there a cost to candidates? No. Role Simulations are delivered through a free, accessible virtual platform, ensuring they are open to students from all backgrounds.
